Compared to the last week alfalfa and grass hay sold unevenly steady. Dehy pellets and ground and delivered alfalfa sold steady. Demand and movement is light for this time of year but as we progress into fall demand will pick up for baled forages. Some farmers have started combining high moister corn and delivering it to area feedlots to be ground and packed in there bunker pits. Few, people have started on soybean harvest. Some hay producers continue to work on 4th and a few on 5th cutting alfalfa. All sales are dollars per ton FOB (freight on buyer) in the field or hay barn, unless otherwise noted.
