Compared to last week, grain bids were mostly mixed.  The U.S. dollar 
continued to gain strength throughout the week, now trading at its highest 
prices in 13 years.  At the beginning of the week, it was announced that corn 
harvest is 93 percent complete and soybean harvest is 97 percent complete.  This 
week’s export sales and shipments for wheat totaled 22.0 mb and 14.8 mb, which 
may be viewed as neutral.  Export sales for corn totaled 65.4 mb, with shipments 
at 21.3 mb.  This may be viewed as neutral for the corn market.  Export sales 
and shipments for soybeans may be viewed as bullish, at 52.1 mb and 111.5 mb, 
respectively.  Wheat was 1 3/4 cents lower to 11 cents higher.  Corn was 5 1/2 
cents lower to 8 1/2 cents higher.  Sorghum was 2 to 8 cents lower.  Soybeans 
were 1 1/2 to 13 1/2 cents lower.
