Photos by Focus Marketing Group -- Supreme Champion bull at the 2017 Black Hills Stock Show was a limousin bull from Peterson’s L7 Bar Limousin of Pukwana, S.D.

The Black Hills Stock Show concluded on Feb. 5 with the selection of the Hubbard Feeds Supreme Row cattle winners. Peterson’s L7 Bar Limousin of Pukwana, S.D. won supreme bull honors. Supreme female went to the chi-influenced heifer from Justin Holt Cattle and Webb Cattle of Aberdeen, S.D. Bull and female winners each received $5,000 in prize money. 

A drawing among those vying for supreme row title honors was held and Ludens Family Limousin won the use of a trailer from Blake’s Trailer Sales & Repair in Rapid City, S.D. 

That night a calcutta was held with the supreme row bulls with proceeds to benefit South Dakota cattleman Michael Blume who suffered a stroke early in the week at Black Hills Stock Show. He was released from the hospital and is back with his family.
